OUR STORY
Start with love. End with crumbs.

Who we are
My name is Juan, I'm the head baker at Mason's Mixer. I started baking with my Granny as a child and it's always been a passion of mine. When the Covid-19 pandemic went in full swing, I began working from home and (of course) quarantine baking. The passion became a business and almost three years later we have baked cheesecakes, brownies, cakes and now our specialty-cookies.
Mason's Mixer is named after our son who inspires us each day to become better versions of ourselves. He even gets in on the baking action sometimes! We created Mason's Mixer as a tribute to our first born with the hopes of leaving a legacy for him and the possibility of a future business opportunity. We also wanted to have a place where we could connect as a family and what better way to do that than through food?
I enjoy baking because I can infuse my love of people, my passion for baking and my desire to be a better father into a single bite.

What we use
Mason’s Mixer is committed to making a classic-better. We start with love, and you end with crumbs but in between we work with local vendors to get the freshest ingredients, offer traditional and vegan options and seal it all in an eco-friendly bag. We work hard to include only the most basic ingredients and we are constantly looking to improve.
We bake our cookies on shared equipment, that processes wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. We do our best to prevent cross-contamination but are not an allergy-free bakery.
Why we bake
When we ship our cookies to you, you not only support our small business dream, but you help make dreams come true for others. This year, a portion of our proceeds will go toward The Olujimi Project. The Olujimi Project was created in honor of Olujimi who has Cerebral Palsy. Each cookie purchased will help with his medical bills and go toward the purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle. You can learn more about Olujimi at their website and on Instagram.
We also sponsor cookies for nonprofit organizations, local projects and events. If you are interested in sponsorship, please contact us at masonsmixer@gmail.com or 256.527.9833
